Description:

The gutters of a large retail property were clogged with leaves, moss, and debris, preventing proper water drainage. The building had recently experienced flooding during a heavy rainstorm, which prompted the client to take action before further damage occurred. The task required a thorough inspection and cleaning of the gutters and downspouts to avoid future blockages.

Challenges:
The height and complexity of the building made access difficult, especially around roof edges and steep sections. There was also a significant amount of debris, requiring extended cleaning time.

Solution:
Our team employed a high-powered vacuum system for efficient gutter cleaning and used pressure washers for deeper cleaning of tough debris. Safety was paramount, so we used full fall protection systems while accessing the gutters via roof ladders and secured points. We also inspected the downspouts for blockages and performed necessary repairs, leaving the building prepared for the next season of rain.
